Benefits of Hungarian MICE presented in Austria
The Austrian representation of Magyar Turizmus Zrt. (Hungarian Tourist Board), along with the national representations of other countries organized an MICE workshop in Vienna on 21 October 2014.
At the event, held in Park Hyatt Wien, Magyar Turizmus Zrt. represented Hungarian MICE with 3 co-exhibitors (the city of Győr, IBUSZ, Continental Travel).
Balázs Kovács, the leader of the foreign representation said at the event that the majority of Hungarian tourism services meet all the requirements of the 21st century, so Hungary is an ideal destination for Austrian conferences. He underlined that Hungary is a favourable place for business trips and seminars from the point of view of value for money. Prior to the MICE workshop in Vienna, the representatives of Magyar Turizmus Zrt. had presented at half a dozen of forums MICE in Hungary on the Austrian market and the following months to come will see further presentations held for Austrian travel agencies and tour operators.
